These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Whatifi mobile application provided by Marek Slavíček, Nové Sady 988/2, Brno, 602 00, Czech Republic, IČ 09625356 (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using Whatifi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The service
Whatifi is a personal financial planning tool that lets you build plans, model timeline events, and compare “what-if” scenarios such as buying property, changing income, or starting a business. All projections are illustrative simulations based on the inputs and assumptions you provide.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Whatifi and to make purchases.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Whatifi for your own private planning. You may not reverse engineer, copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app except as permitted by applicable law.
Free and Pro features
Whatifi is free to download and use. The free tier includes your baseline plan plus one what-if plan and the two-way comparison. Whatifi Pro unlocks unlimited plans and what-ifs, side-by-side comparison of multiple plans, and PDF export. The specific contents of each tier may change as the app evolves.
Pricing and payment
Whatifi Pro is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Reference prices on the Czech storefront are 149 Kč / month, 1 490 Kč / year, and 3 990 Kč for lifetime; the exact price in your local currency is always shown in the app and in the App Store or Google Play before you buy, and may vary by country, currency, applicable taxes, and store promotions. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and charged to your store account; we do not handle your payment details.
Auto-renewal of subscriptions
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or turn off auto-renewal in your Apple or Google account settings at any time.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time via your App Store or Google Play account; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. As a consumer in the EU you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases; by starting to use a paid feature immediately you may consent to immediate performance and acknowledge the loss of that withdrawal right to the extent permitted by law. Consumers outside the EU, including in the United States and Canada, may have similar statutory cancellation or refund rights under their local law; nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
Restoring purchases
Whatifi Pro is tied to your store account and can be restored on devices signed in to the same account using the “Restore purchases” option in the app.
App Store and Google Play (platform terms)
These Terms are an agreement between you and Marek Slavíček only, and not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC, who are not responsible for the app or its content. If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply: (a) the licence granted in these Terms is limited to using the app on any Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions; (b) we, and not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and for providing any maintenance and support, which Apple has no obligation to furnish; (c) we, and not Apple, are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied — in the event the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you (if any), and to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever; (d) we, and not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product-liability, regulatory, consumer-protection, privacy, and intellectual-property claims; (e) you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties; and (f) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these Terms against you. If you obtained the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service additionally apply to your download and use, and Google is likewise not a party to these Terms and bears no responsibility for the app.
Not financial advice
Whatifi provides illustrative projections based on assumptions you enter. It is not investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and creates no advisory relationship. Consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions.
Accuracy of projections
All outputs are simulations. Actual results depend on markets, interest rates, tax law, personal circumstances, and events the model cannot predict. We make no guarantee of accuracy or future performance.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the data you enter and for how you use the results. Do not rely on the app as your sole basis for major financial commitments.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation or security, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
Whatifi, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by Marek Slavíček and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding.
Availability and changes
We may update, add, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Store availability and pricing are determined at the time of publication.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are not affected.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marek Slavíček is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from your reliance on the app’s projections. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country, state, or province of residence (including in the EU, the United States, and Canada).
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version, and continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
